I keep looking at this site and wondering who the people are that read my journal - I do not actively pursue them, since I have no way in which I am comfortable to pursue same or in fact find them. I've tried dating sites - and they are routinely awful. I have long known of my deficiencies in finding appropriate or successful avenues for meeting people. My time on-line is work. That is what I do. So when the vocational demands subside I run from the computer with all speed - except lately I've had my laptop on my lap, and have been wishing that some magical window would open and a fresh and honest face would shine on me just for a moment, telling me it's okay that things are pretty much screwed up: I think we all agree that people suck, and that finding those that we are willing, and god forbid anxious, to hang out with are few and far between. But then again, I am deeper than most people and more selfish than few, and harder worker than almost all of which I am aware, and still I do not know how to find her. The one. My matrix is fixed and challenging, and it bears little resemblance to the bare and hardened digital landscape that the movies portray. Which, by the way I loved.
